Beautiful Diane, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 11, 2014. Her tender spirit was so ever present, lasting in our precious memories.

She was born to Verona Perry in Los Angeles and with the dedication of Roy Eugene Perry, grew up in Salt Lake City with her siblings Norma, Ted and Bud. She attended Granite High School where she met the love of her life and married the “Farmer” Ronald Baxter in 1954. Together they raised five daughters; Sherri, Michelle, Cindy, Linda, Ronda and a grandson Brian. Diane believed in family and proved her devotion continuously.

Diane became a medical assistant in 1976, yet loved her place at home, playing cards, sewing, cooking and gardening. She also traveled with friends and family but mostly with her exceptional spouse of 60 years, and he took her places!

She is survived by her husband Ronald L. Baxter, daughters; Sherri Kappus (Kurt), Linda Diane Baxter, Ronda Johnson (Jay), Son- in Law , Larry Wilberger , grandson Brian Baxter (Kim) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom are cherished deeply. She is preceded in death by her parents Verona and Roy Perry, and daughters Michelle (Baxter) Wilberger and Cindy Kay Baxter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn (3401 S. Highland Drive) with a viewing at 1pm and services at 2pm. Interment will be held at Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St, Salt Lake City, UT 84103). For condolences please go to www.wasatchlawn.com.
