.Thelma Norma VanBatenburg McIntire, born September 22, 1923 at home in Ogden, Utah, died May 27, 2014 at home in Centerville Utah. Aged 90 years 7 months and 5 days. Born to Oscar Dirk VanBatenburg and Adrianna DeHeer VanBatenburg. Married James A. “Bud” McIntire on September 13, 1957 in Zether Cove, Nevada.

Thelma graduated from Ogden High School. She was the youngest and last surviving of 10 children. In her mother’s later years, Thelma spent at least 1 day a week taking caring of her. She had been a bookkeeper for Greyhound Bus Company and Utah Machine and Mill Supply. She was a 43 year member of Lybia Temple, Daughters of the Nile and served as Queen of that organization in 1980. She was a member if Bethsaida Chapter No. 22, Order of Eastern Star.

Survived by; husband: James “Bud” and daughter: Patricia Ann.

Graveside services will be held on June 7th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Services will be provided the Bethsaida Chapter No. 22, Order of Eastern Star.
