Amanda C. White

Amanda “Betty” White, 98, of Del Rio The beloved mother of Ann Montgomery and the late husband Ronnie of Del Rio, Texas and son Gordon Sparks and wife Nona of San Angelo, Texas went to her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 30, 2010.

Graveside services will be at Fairmount Cemetery 1116 W. Ave N under direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 4, 2011in San Angelo, Texas, with Chaplin Jay Clark of Del Rio, Texas officiating.

Amanda was born in Rowena, Texas April 9, 1912 to William and Matilda Hoeinghaus. She is survived by four loving grandchildren Rhonda Montgomery of Del Rio, Texas; Wade Montgomery and wife Renee of Del Rio, Texas; Brian Sparks and wife Tobie of Lake Forest, California; and Carrie Sparks Crain and husband Garry of Edmond, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five great grandchildren David Larry Creighton Jr., M’Lynn Ann Creighton, Sarah Rhae Montgomery, Amber Ryan Montgomery, and Randee Ricks Montgomery all of Del Rio, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Del Rio at 801 Bedell, Del Rio, Texas 78840.
