Anna Marie Lively passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, in a local nursing home. Anna was born Oct. 5, 1911, to Fredrick T. and Cornelie Lee in Pikeville, Tenn. Anna attended David-Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tenn., where she majored in music. Anna met the love of her life, William Lively, and they married in Nov. 1939. Anna and William moved to San Angelo where they were longtime members of Southgate Church of Christ. Anna worked in retail sales for 30 years before she retired. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, William Lively; and her parents, Fredrick and Cornelie Lee. Anna is survived by her son, Bill Lively and wife Charlene of Fort Worth, Texas; two granddaughters, Anna Marie Lively of Fredericksburg, Va., and Karrah Lee Lively of Manassas, Va.; along with five great-grandchildren. There will be a private burial with family and close friends with Paul Shero officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
