Barbara Ann Hall, a life long resident of San Angelo for 80 years departed on the 29th of January from a fatigued loving heart. She'll be met in her new home by her "Daddy" J D, "Mother" Alice (Ihlefeldt), brother "Robert" Hall and niece "Cindy" Poole (Hall). She'll be remembered by her nephew Mike and (wife) Rhonna of Las Cruces, NM, great nephews and nieces Travis Hall (Las Cruces), Audra Ellis (Lubbock, Tx), Dustin Hall (Windsor, Co), Gretta Poole (Lubbock), and "Great" great nephew and niece Elijah Hall (Las Cruces) and Athena Poole (Lubbock). As one of the first graduates of San Angelo Junior College she entered the local workforce as a cashier at the San Angelo National Bank. Transitioning to Texas Commerce Bank she remained until retirement, attaining a position as one of the bank's vice presidents. Travel was one of her passions, be it for relaxation, entertainment, or observing God's marvels. She preferred to journey with a friend, devoted group, or loved ones. Any opportunity to bond, when possible was taken, be it church events, cards, dominoes, or other games. At home she loved her pets and watching sports, especially tennis and womens basketball. A lifelong member of the First Baptist Church she loved the Lord, her Sunday School, and serving in the office. Many may recall her saying " Growing old ain't for sissies", but she relished 80 years of memories and even more FRIENDS.
