Benito Hernandez Luna Sr.

Benito Hernandez Luna Sr., 66 of San Angelo, TX, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2016. He was born in Greeley, CO on July 23, 1950. A loving and devoted father and grandfather, Ben enjoyed to BBQ and prepare meals for his family. He also enjoyed being outdoors with his family. In his early years, Ben was known for his carpentry around San Angelo. He had a reputation for his golfing skills and his keen sense of humor. A servant to his friends and family, Ben never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is survived by a son, Benito (Teresa ) Luna Jr. and a daughter, Cerez Luna both of San Angelo, TX. Grandchildren; Benjamin and Ireanna Luna both of San Angelo, TX; his siblings and a devoted a girlfriend of 21 years Rebecca Ramirez and an extended family, who he loved as his own. He is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents David B. Luna Sr. and Pomposa H. Luna, and a sister, Alice Lombrana. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buddy Helms officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Belvedere Memorial Park.
