L. McClain, formerly of San Angelo, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at the age of 89. She had been a resident of Parkersburg, W. Va., for the past eight years. Preceding her in death were her husband, J.K. (Jake) McClain; and son Ronald D. McClain, both of San Angelo. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Paul Snyder of Parkersburg, W. Va.; son and daughter-in-law James and Kathy McClain of Gilmer, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Roger and Crystal McClain of Christoval, Texas; and daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Todd Nelson of San Angelo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Family visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, in Shields Cemetery near Shields, Texas. Family and friends may sign the online register book at johnsons-funeralhome.com.
