

Bobby Ray Baker, 81, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in San Angelo. The family visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M., Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 2, 2012 at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Tom Baden officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Bobby was born December 13, 1930 in Texon, TX to Clayton Ray “Bud” Baker and Pauline Walden Baker. Bobby graduated from San Angelo High School. He married the love of his life Christine L Crenwelge on August 30, 1950 in Aztec, New Mexico and they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage together before she preceded him in death in September of 2010. Bobby spent most of his life in the automobile industry in sales. He was a devoted father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family and friends. His true passion was motorcycle touring. He and Christine shared a number of years of RV traveling and motorcycle touring together. Bobby loved his “Harley’s” and was a true “free spirit” with a great sense of humor and was always ready to ride the open road. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Christine. He is survived by his Daughter, Kathleen Baker, of San Angelo; his Son, Carlton Baker and his wife Lisa, of Bedford, TX; his Grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Baker, of Bedford, TX, and Chandler Allison Baker, of Austin, TX; and many other family members and close friends.
