Buddy Ray Perry

Buddy Ray Perry was born March 1, 1947 in Palestine, TX to J.J. and Eula Perry. He graduated from Tooele High School in Tooele, UT in 1965 at that time he moved with his ailing mother to Big Spring, TX., where he worked in the oilfield.

He volunteered work at San Angelo Community Medical Center Auxiliary. He was an Amateur Radio Operator.

He married Hannelore W. Perry on September 2, 1978. He loved the Lord, his wife and family. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved people. He was a patriotic American. He is survived by his wife, Hannelore, his children, Linda Marie Perry who lives at home, Louis Earl Perry and wife Deneen, of Independence MO, Sharon Sue Jones and husband Brian, of Big Spring, TX and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters and a son.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Bob Budewig and Rev. Randall Wehmeyer officiating.
