

Christopher Jeremy Hernandez,40, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Christoher was born on July 6, 1974 to Armida Hernandez, he was his mother's pride and joy. Chris grew up and lived in San Angelo until his passing. Chris began working at Angelo State Universtiy in 1995 and was employed there for 19 years as a Maintenance Technician. Chris was a jack of all trades, there was never a job too big or small. Chris would work days, nights, and weekends, and was alway's eagar to learn new things. Chris remained humble in his quest to help his family, and alway's made sure they were well taken care of. Chris never met a stranger and easily made friend's no matter where he went. Chris wanted everyone he knew to reach their highest potential and he strived to help them reach their goals. His love of family and friend's shined through with anything he tried to accomplish. Chris loved spending time with his family, especially his son. He loved fishing,camping, playing video games,watching movies, and cooking for family and friend's. He loved riding his dirt bike, go- kart, and driving his truck. His favorite time was having pajama parties with his son in their " Man Cave". Chris was a loving son, husband, father, and friend, and his love will live on forever in us. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Armida Hernandez and his grandfather, Andres Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Carney, of San Angelo; his son, Christopher Kale Hernandez, of San Angelo; his mother in law, Debra Daniels, of San Angelo; his sisters-in-law Tina Carney, of San Angelo, L'tisha Gist and her husband David, of Oklahoma City, OK; his brothers-in-law, Randy Prentice, of San Angelo and Joseph Carney, of San Angelo; his Aunt Ana Hedman and her husband Marty, of San Angelo; his Aunt Mary, of San Angelo; his cousins, Johnny Sanchez, of San Angelo, and Joseph Garza, of San Angelo; a special step-son, Julio Enriquez, of San Angelo, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctor's and staff at Methodist Specialty and Transplant hospital in San Antonio. the Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Johnson's funeral home Chapel with REv. Daniel Calhoun officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home.
