Crecencio "Chris" "Pipi" Hogeda

Crecencio Coronado Hogeda Jr. has gone to be with the Lord. He passed away on September 19, 2021 at Shannon Hospital at the age of 72. He was born on December 04, 1948 at Goodfellow Air-force Base in San Angelo Texas to Crecencio G. And Nicholasa Hogeda. “Chris, Pipi”was a 1968 Central High School graduate and San Angelo Native. He retired from GTE/Verizon after 31 1/2 years. After being bored from retirement, he went back to work as a Bus Driver for SAISD. He retired after 16 years of driving. He served as an usher at Sacred Heart. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing games, and watching game shows. In his younger years he loved to golf, play cards, and pool. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Margaret Diana Hogeda; daughter and son in law Catherine "Cathy" and James Daniel Garcia Sr.; son and daughter-in-law Crecencio “Chencho” 111 (the third) and Lizette Hogeda; 5 grandchildren James, Leeya, and Joshua Garcia and Lizveth and Noah Hogeda. He is survived by his brothers Armando and wife Lavern Hogeda of China Spring, Albert and wife Isabelle Hogeda of Sugar Land, Andrew and wife Myra Hogeda of San Angelo, Able Hogeda, Alfred Hogeda. He also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was very blessed with family. He joins their son Christopher James Hogeda, his parents Crecencio and Nicholasa Hogeda, brother Arnold Hogeda, his Suegros Esteban and Rose Menchaca, along with many other loving relatives who have passed on. Rosary will be held at Johnson’s Funeral home on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Thursday September 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. The burial will follow at Lawnhaven Cemetery. Paul Bearers will be James D. Garcia, Jr., Scott Menchaca, Henery Hogeda Jr. , Alfred Hogeda Jr., Anthony Hogeda, Roger Garcia. Honorary Paul Bearers: Noah Hogeda, Joshua Garcia, Andy Hogeda, Able Hogeda, Armando Hogeda, Alfred Hogeda, Albert Hogeda and Steve Menchaca.
