

Cynthia Cypert Redfield, 69, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Round Rock, TX. A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Johnson’s Funeral Home with interment to follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James Redfield.
She is survived by her daughters Katherine Angle Wood and husband John and Tamara Angle Hitt and husband Shawn; grandchildren L.J. Wood, Dallas Wood, Courtney Wood, Mason Hitt, and Michelle Hitt; sister Cheryl Cypert Scott and husband J.R.; and a nephew Sgt 1st Ralph E. Beard “Cuartro”.
Cynthia was born March 28, 1944 in Dallas, TX to O.D. “Red” and Elinor (Keen) Cypert. She graduated from Central High School in 1962 and attended Texas Tech University. She also received her R.R. A. from St. Joseph’s School of Medical Record, after that she worked in the Medical Records field for over 20 years; she also was a Dorm Parent and Administrative Assistant at Oak Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, VA for 6 years. Cynthia enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13.
