

After a long battle with COPD and Cancer Dianna Irene Moore peacefully passed away on 9 June 2023. She was born on 19 September 1955 to William and Clara Reynolds in San Diego California with her twin sister Donna.
After High School she tried her hand at various jobs and eventually joined the United States Air Force in July 1978. She completed Basic Training at Lackland AFB Texas and technical training at Kessler AFB Mississippi before finally arriving at Goodfellow AFB Texas. It was at Goodfellow she found her best friend and eventually her husband Harold H. Moore.
They began the life together that lasted 44 years on 29 June 1979 and after the birth of their son Harold (Hal), she became a full time Air Force Wife and Mother. In 1984 her family was complete with the birth her their daughter Katy Olean. Dianna, with family in tow followed her husband from Washington State, back to California and then to Germany where they spent 6 years exploring Europe.
While in Germany she found employment at the Base Housing Office where she assisted other service members locate housing. Balancing a hectic school schedule, being active in Community Volunteer Service led to her being nominated by her unit for the 1990 Joan Orr Award that recognizes the Outstanding Air Force Spouse of the Year.
In July 1992 she returned to what she sometimes referred to as the “Scene of the Crime”…Goodfellow AFB. On 16 October she took action to fix a longtime problem finding Alcoholic’s Anonymous maintaining her sobriety to this date. While the road to sobriety was difficult, she found her true life’s calling as a Registered Nurse at Rivercrest Hospital, Community Hospital (OBGYN) and the St John’s Rehab Unit.
After twenty years as a nurse and her health in decline she retired in time to see the birth of her most precious grandchildren Isla Olean and John Henry Anderson. Grandmas Eyes would get big and bright and her trademark smile would be evident at the mere site of Isla and John Henry.
Dianna is survived by her Older Sister Brenda Earehart of San Diego California and her twin sister Donna Zink and husband Gary of Washington State. She is leaving behind numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving husband and soulmate Harold H. Moore, her son Harold H (Hal) and his wife Rosa, Katy Olean Anderson and her husband Jon, and grandchildren Isla Olean and Jon Henry Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Clare Reynolds of San Diego, Her Stepfather Herbert H. Harrington of San Diego her brother Vincent Reynolds of San Diego and half-brother Stanley Wade Paulson from California.
While this obituary does not reflect all of the tribulations she had to overcome in her life, she lived her life well…Friend, Wife, Mother, Nurse and Grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Graveside Services for the Family Members will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, it was her request memorial donations be made to Hospice of San Angelo.
