Elizabeth R Sanchez

Elizabeth Ramirez Sanchez, 86 was called home by our Lord and Savior on September 15, 2012. She was born on January 2, 1926 in Creekmore, Texas to Fabian and Anselma Ramirez. She married Guadalupe M. Sanchez on August 25, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe M. Sanchez and one son Luis Sanchez. Survivors include Sarah and husband Joe Ben Garcia, son Samuel and wife Yolanda Sanchez, daughter Sylvia and husband Rudy Lara, daughters Rosemary Nandin and Ernestine S Payne, four brothers and four sisters; Josie Martinez of San Antonio, Rachel and husband David Sanchez, Rebecca Ramirez of San Angelo, Lina Ornelas of San Antonio, Alex and wife Magaretia Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico, Juan and wife Susana Ramirez of San Angelo, Fabian Jr. and wife Cecelia Ramirez of Robstown, Texas, Zach and wife Kate Ramirez of Jacksonville, Florida, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She worked at Sears Roebuck for 30 years. She was a devoted Christian and Prayer Warrior. She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Prayer service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Centro Cristiano Emanuel, 2100 Hill St.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
