Daniel & family. I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear of the passing of your father. I was honored to know Ellis & recognize that he had a supportive loving family and marriage. It was his time to leave us, something we all must do one day. Ellis reflected qualities of a loving and caring father, examples that we all need from a father. What stood out the most to me are the things you told me of your father; Ellis went beyond the role of most fathers. By example, Ellis was a framework of what a father should be like. The relationship you had with your father reflected the strong bond and love you both shared. I know Ellis will be missed, but always remembered, by those he loved and knew. I have lost both my parents and it has been my faith in God that has helped me with my loss. There were many days of grieving. Special occasions and holidays, they all have some emptiness in them. But, I also feel blessed. Like everything else good, our loved ones are a gift from God to us. Knowing they have moved to another level of life is reassuring. As a Christian, I have hope and faith that when we die, we go on living. I believe that death is just the next stage of our life toward further self-improvement and happiness. Daniel, I know that you are a good man, and like your father, you have always been a pillar, a rock for your family. So, with confidence, despite your loss, I know you will be able to go on living and enjoying life’s many gifts during this difficult time. If you have any family members or friends that struggle with the idea of eternal life, I will be glad to talk to them about it. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the peace of Christ be with you and your family always, all ways.

Ellis blessed so many people in his life. His legacy lives on through his family. What an inspiration to see the love he gave continue to touch so many lives.I pray that you will continue to keep your eyes upon Jesus in the days to come so that you may sing and rejoice at our deliverance in Christ.

I haven't seen Ellis for a long time but at one time his borther Lee Roy was my uncle by marrige. He was a good man and lot of people will miss him, I am sure Lee Roy really will.

We only knew Ellis for a short time, but we will never forget our welcoming "neighbor". And everytime we are in the front yard playing baseball we will always remember Ellis standing at the fence watching on.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr Motl was a great friend to our family when i was growing up. Mr & Mrs Motl are some of the finest folks I've met in my life. 

I remember the guard rattlesnake he had in his welding shop. And guess what - it worked!
