

Estella O. Reyna, 66, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in San Angelo. The Rosary will be 7:00 P.M., Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 17, 2010 at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Msgr. Maurice Voity officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Estella was born September 7, 1944 in Ecleto, Texas to Cipriano and Rita Franco Osuna. She married David Reyna on March 24, 1962 in Helena, Texas and they spent 46 beautiful years together before he preceded her in Death in 2008. Estella worked for a number of years for Levi Strauss Company and for Barry’s. She was first and foremost a loving homemaker who was devoted to taking care of her family. She loved having family gatherings, especially around the holidays where she could nurture and cook for everyone. Estella also loved tending to her garden and doing yard work, all kinds of arts and crafts, attending garage sales, and quilting and stitching. She was also known as “Mrs. Chancellor” because of her love of jewelry. Estella was preceded in death by her Parents, Cipriano and Rita, her husband David, her sister, Sally O. Mendoza and her brothers, Ruben Osuna and Raul Osuna. She is survived by her loving family, Sons, Steve Reyna and his wife Mirna, of San Angelo and Armando Reyna, of Dallas, TX; Two Grandchildren, Brandon Reyna, of San Angelo and Shayna Reyna, of Mesquite, TX; Three Step Grandchildren, Eloisa Luna, Robert Luna and Estella Luna, all of San Angelo; her Mother-in-law: Sara Reyna, of San Angelo; One Brother, Rene Osuna, of San Antonio, TX; and Two Sisters, Lupe Rivas, of El Campo, TX and Rose Barrientez and her husband John, of Karnes City, TX; and Numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and close friends. The Pallbearers for the service will be Ramiro Rivas, Jimmy Mendoza, Rene Osuna, Henry Reyna, Willie Reyna and Pete Rios. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Shannon on the 5th Floor North and especially to Olivia Arispe and Alice Rios for all of the loving care given to Estella during her illness. Estella will be dearly missed and will live on in our hearts forever.
