Eva Gonzales Garcia

On the 2nd of March 2011 Eva Garcia went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was at home surrounded by her family and many close friends. Eva was a beautiful friend, a loving sister, a caring mother, and most of all, the best grandmother/great grandmother.

She retired from the San Angelo Independent School district as a teacher and also retired from Ethicon Inc. Eva loved her family and friends more than anyone could have ever imagined. She had a personality and attitude as bold, brave, and big as her heart. She would love you unconditionally but always tell you exactly what was on her mind whether friend for family. She gave where she saw a need to be filled without hesitation. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered and missed by all.

Miss Eva Garcia is preceded in death by Father Hilario C. Gonzales, Mother Antonia F. Gonzales, Brother Adam Gonzales, and Sister Rachel Miller. She is survived by her Daughter Lisa Conklin of San Angelo Texas, Grandson Andrew Ray Garivay of San Angelo Texas, Great-grandchildren Isaiah Angel and Marley Rae, Sister Corine Martinez and husband Paul of San Angelo Texas, Sister Susie Gonzales of Dallas Texas, Brother Sammy Gonzales and wife Linda of Coppell Texas, Oscar Gonzales of Lewisville Texas, Larry Gonzales and wife Betty of Lubbock Texas, Brother Rev Antonio Gonzales and wife Lawana of Del Valle Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Johnson’s Funeral Home on Thursday March 3, 2011 at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Primera Baptist Church on Friday March 4, 2011 at 10:00am followed by internment at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
