Eva had a career in the culinary field, working for HEB as a Deli Specialist. Eva A. M. Engelhart married Johnnie Hegwood on July 8, 1950 and had three children.
Eva had a passion for God, animal rights, and gardening. She will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking.
She was preceded in death by her sons, James and Perry; and her ex-husband, Johnnie Hegwood.
Eva is survived by her son, David, and daughter-in-law, Maureen.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Belvedere Memorial Park, 3504 Arden Road, San Angelo, TX 76901.
In lieu of flowers, the Hegwood family asks that you make a memorial contribution in Eva's name to Meals for the Elderly.
The family would also like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Johnson's Funeral Home, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
