Frances Regina West

Frances Regina West, 90, of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Frances was born January 9, 1922 in Ft. Worth, Texas to John and Martha Annie (Wallace) McClure. She married the love of her life Lewis K. West in The Trinity Methodist Church in 1942. She was a very faithful woman who loved her church and was a member of First United Methodist Church for 44 years. She was a very devout Christian whose faith was an inspiration to each of her children growing up; she always put faith and God first. Frances had many loves; music, singing, she had such a beautiful voice, but most of all she loved teaching and the children she taught.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis K. West, daughter Jeannie Marie Beck, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her son David West and wife Lori; son-in-law Buddy Beck; Daughter Elizabeth McKinley and husband Craig; grandsons Mike West and wife Lisa, John Shaffer and wife Shea, Aaron Beck and wife Carrie, Marc West, Chris McKinley and wife Mylisa; granddaughter April Tidwell and husband Stephen, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the service will be; Marc West, Mike West, Chris McKinley, Robbie Leek, Aaron Beck, and Stephen Tidwell.

She will be greatly missed.
