Fred Hays Jr.

Fred graduated from San Angelo High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He attended Trinity University and San Angelo College.

Fred retired in 2007 as a painting contractor and real estate broker. He was a member of Lakewood Church and attended the Cowboy Church of San Angelo.

He is survived by special cousins Rebecca Marvin of Minden, LA, Sarah Ruth Richard of Plano, TX, Arthur “Man” Wallace of Benton, LA, Bob Grimes and wife Ruth of Weatherford, TX and Betsy Andrus and husband Sonny of Wylie, TX and many, many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 5th in Johnson’s Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Terry Gayle officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be San Angelo High School Classes from 1950-1959.
