

She was born on December 2, 1943 in Gomes, Palacios, Mexico to Alfonso Hernandez & Antonia Gomez Hernandez. Lupita worked for Baptist Memorial for many years and took pride in helping her residents any way she could. Lupita was also a foster grandparent, sharing love and caring for kids in need.
Guadalupe married Federico Guerrero, Sr. and the two had 7 children. She will always be remembered for her love of family and the joy she had raising her kids and grandkids. Faith was also a pillar of Lupita’s life. As an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, she enjoyed attending mass, attending retreats, and sharing the word of God. When she wasn’t with her family or at church, Lupita enjoyed spending time tending to her garden, listening to music, and dancing. Her heart of joy and spirit of love will be greatly missed.
Guadalupe was preceded in passing by her husband, Federico Guerrero, Sr.; parents, Alfonso and Antonia Hernandez; sons, Felix Guerrero and Federico Guerrero II; daughters, Juanita Janie Guerrero and Rosa Carrillo; Grandson, Benito Guerrero Jr., great-granddaughter, Elayna Guerrero, and 11 siblings.
Left to cherish Lupita’s memory are her children, Benito Guerrero Sr. (Wife Priscilla) of Odessa, TX, Maria Guerrero of San Angelo, TX, Alicia Guerrero of San Angelo, TX, son-in-law, Juan Carrillo and daughter-in-law, Francis Guerrero; grandchildren, Federico Guerrero III (Alicia) of San Angelo, TX, Gregoria Burgess (Donavan) of Midland, TX, Guadalupe Carrillo of San Angelo, TX Elizabeth Guerrero (Ramon R.) of San Angelo, TX, Jaclyn Guerrero of San Angelo, TX, Steven Casares (Connie) of San Angelo, TX, Alexis Guerrero (Robert B.) of Abilene, TX, Jose Guerrero (Allison N.) of San Angelo, TX, Josie Guerrero of San Angelo, TX, Hennessy Guerrero of Abilene, TX, Mya Olguin of Robert Lee, TX, Juan Olguin, Jr. of Robert Lee, TX, and Jesse Guerrero of San Angelo, TX. Lupita also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Federico IV, Eterniity, Genesis, Avery, Jonathan, TJ, Kaylynn, Emilio, Axel, Juan Joseph, Jeremiah, Evangeline, Olivia, Mary, Jordan, Sophia, Atlas, Azrael, and Isabella; sister, Flavia Chairez of Eagle Pass, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
