Gwondolyn D. Hughes, 83 of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2017. She was born in Olney, Texas on September 6, 1934. She graduated from Olney High School. She met and married the love of her life Thomas Grady Hughes on February 9, 1956 in Olney, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She is preceded in death by Bea Byers, and Betty Sue Connolly, and is survived by two brothers and a sister, James Allen Douthit, Smitty Douthit, and Nancy Douthit, as well as two children Thomas Eugene Hughes and James Keith Hughes and many Grandchildren and Great Grand Children, nieces and nephews that loved her. Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel , with burial immediately following at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
