Howard Dewayne Wood

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Mark Riggins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Harold W. Wood.

Bubba will always be remembered for his light hearted teasing, loving attitude and big smile. He worked at the family owned gas station for several years and went on to work for the San Angelo Animal Shelter until his retirement. Bubba was a loyal member of the First Christian Church of San Angelo.

He is survived by his three sisters; Helen Galbreath of San Angelo, Darlene Fisher of Oxnard, CA and Patricia Agden of Lampasas, TX. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Dot Wood of San Angelo and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their greatest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Stanley and all of the Vista Care Hospice staff, and all of the Legend Oaks Nursing Home staff. Your care of our beloved one was superior.
