Irene Garcia Juarez, 76, of San Angelo, passed away on November 22, 2020. Irene was born to Florentino and Luciana Garcia on June 27, 1944, in Marathon, Texas. She married the love of her life, Frank Juarez, in 1964. Together the couple had two children.
Irene was a proud member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved her family deeply and helped raise multiple nieces and nephews. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Her cooking was love by all who had the pleasure of experiencing it.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her two sons, Frankie Juarez and wife Mishell and Robert Juarez and wife Rachel; grandson, Gavin Juarez and wife Tyler; granddaughter, Alexis McCormick; three special nieces, Glendora, Ramona, and Gina; her siblings, Robert, Oscar, Delma, Sylvia, Carmen, Linda, and Miguel, as well as one great grandchild on the way, Greyson Kai Juarez, coming in February 2021. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation in Irene's name to The American Cancer Society. The family would also like to thank the staff at Senior Care and Shannon Medical center for their care during this time.
