A celebration of James’ life will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Bible Way Church with Pastor Lonnie Green officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
James was born to the late James Evans and Juanita Bell. From 1974-1978, James was in the Air Force and worked as an Aircraft Mechanic. James was married to the late Janetta Jean Evans.
James is survived by his 6 children: Randall Blue, James Evans III, Jamesia Pena, Jessica Evans, Jylina Evans, and Michael Evans. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. James had 7 siblings: the late Martha Evans, Sandra Evans, Loretta, Kathy Johnson, Glen Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Kelly Evans. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
