I am so sorry to hear about Jimmy's passing!  I remember Jimmy as a very good person.

I have a picture of Jimmy and myself, taken in our Cub Scout Uniforms, in Sweetwater; the picture was probably taken in 1956 or 1957. The picture is attached.

I worked with Jim for about three years at the CU. He'd always sneak up on us at the worst time, but we'd always get a good laugh. Jim was always the one behind the grill, whether it be at the rodeo, a CU get together, or pancake breakfast. He will always be someone to look up to. Jim was a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fratnerity at ASU. As a brother and fellow Optimist he was a true leader and a team player. Our prayers go out to Donna and the boys.

I had the honor of working briefly with Jim this past year as a new consultant to his credit union.. I was at first intimidated a bit :) and then as we spoke several times and exchanged emails became intrigued by his intellegence and commitment to his credit union family and members. His expertise will be missed and I will certainly miss working with him. My heartfelt sympathy to all his family, friends and coworkers.

Great person. Enjoyed serving in the gaurd with J and also seeing him serving burgers at the rodeo. Bless the famly and be with them .

We knew Jim for a short time but we knew he was a good man with a big heart. Our prays are with the family.

My colleagues and I worked with Jim over the past four years on the Credit Union's building projects.  Those of us in our company spoke often amongst ourselves about Jim's professionalism, expertise, kindness and friendship. We feel as though we have lost a member of our family. When I first met Jim he was a very intimadating figure. As I worked with him these 8 plus years I grew to know the man as the kindest, most understanding boss I person could have. We will all miss you.Prayers to the family.

I had the privilege of working with Jim over the past 5 years as a consultant with the credit union.  He was one of my favorite clients, and I always enjoyed our visits.  He was a great man and will be missed!

Donna and Sons: Jim was always 1SG to me. I will miss him and will always have great memories of him.  All who knew him realized they were in the presence of a good and great man.

1SG, you don't know how many lives you have touched.  I remeber the first time I met you.  My dad introduced me, and told how great a man and friend you have always been.  I looked into those baby blue eyes, and I knew right then you saw right through me.  If your eyes could tell a story, they would tell of a genuine man, with great character, a great friend, and a mentor.  You will be truely missed. Although life has taken us down different paths, I never forgot what you taught me, nor will I ever forget your kindness, your leadership, or the values you taught us.  You will be cherished in my heart, as well as every other soldier that served with you.  Thank you for the time we spent.  My prayers go to your family and my brothers and sisters that will miss you dearly.
