She was born on July 21, 1954 in Madera, California to Bertram Magee and Phyllis McKinney Magee. She graduated from Soquel High School in 1972 and attended San Jose State University to study in all levels of special education. She then moved to Abilene, Texas and attended Abilene Christian University and studied special education as well, she graduated in 1976. She then moved to San Angelo for a job in special ed and that is when she met the love of her life, Dale Moos. They got married on December 22, 1979. Shortly after, they were blessed with a son, Matthew Dale Moos. He was special to them because he had a brain bleed when he was 9 days old, which led to his cerebral palsy. Mom loved him very much. They then decided to have one more child and 5 years later had their daughter, Karen Moos (Gigger). She wanted to further her education and so she got her associates degree in nursing in 1994 from Angelo State University. She worked at Shannon Medical Center but her heart was with the San Angelo State School. She went on and got her B.S.N. from Angelo State University in 2000. She retired from nursing because of her health in March of 2011. She will be greatly missed by all. She has blessed so many lives and has cared for a lot of people.
