18 octobre , 19487 février , 2013

LeeAnne Jordan Webb, 64 passed from this life Thursday, February 7, 2013, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. LeeAnne was born October 18, 1948 to Wallace T. and Jean Taylor Jordan in Snyder, Texas. LeeAnne attended school in Abilene Texas, graduating from Abilene High in 1967. While in school, LeeAnne ran for the Texas Track Club, traveling to Mexico City, Ohio, California and all over the state of Texas. Her track team ran exhibition races at the Texas Relays before women's track was a recognized sport. LeeAnne's track career culminated with her competing in the 1964 Olympic Trials in Los Angeles. Upon her graduation from high school, LeeAnne left Abilene to attend San Angelo College. LeeAnne made many friends while in college, many of whom became her lifelong friends. After leaving college, LeeAnne worked for WTU in Abilene, she worked in retail in Houston, finally returning to San Angelo to start the rest of her life. LeeAnne didn't stop breaking gender barriers with her track career, in 1982 she started hanging wallpaper professionally as Paper Dolls. For the next 20 years, LeeAnne helped people make houses their homes with her talent as a paper hanger and decorator. LeeAnne expertly navigated working full time while raising her family and attending every sporting event in which they participated. She was a full time mother to her three children and led by example the extent of her commitment, dedication and perfectionist ideals. On November 19, 1999, LeeAnne married the love of her life, Danny Webb. Danny and LeeAnne combined their six children to create their blended family, and LeeAnne loved Danny's children as she did her own. In 2002, LeeAnne went to work full time at Sherwin-Williams as a product specialist on decorative products. LeeAnne was an expert at finding the perfect color or wallpaper for creating warmth in homes all over San Angelo and surrounding cities. She was a legend in her field, and will be deeply missed. LeeAnne is survived by her parents, Wally and Jean Jordan, her husband, Danny Webb, her two daughters, Stacie McWilliams and Bart, Stephanie Martin and Dax, and her son Michael Cole and Kyla. LeeAnne was a joy to work with. I will remember her sunny disposition and her willinglness to help. She had a wonderful color sense and helped so many people when they were unsure. Her technical advise was always good. I, and many of my clients will miss her. I hold your family in my prayers as you deal with your loss of a wonderful lady.

A voice from the past wishes you comfort for your loss. LeeAnne & I were childhood friends and one of my favorite memories is being on the score board and changing the numbers at one of Wally's games. LeeAnne was a good friend and athlete. Much love to Wally and Jean and the entire family! Jeannie Seay Ellison

I didn't know Lee Ann personally, however, when I'd go into the store she was always there with a smile on her face and eager to help me.

My memories of Leeanne are from years ago while our dads played ball together. Wally and Jean, I held LeeAnne up on a pedestal. I remember going to your house and looking at all of LeeAnne's blue ribbons and wanting to run track like LeeAnne. Now it has been 40-50 years ago and I don't think I have seen LeeAnne since, but my memories are still vivid. She was kind and caring with me and I am sure it was a pain to have a younger child around who was in awe. My prayers are with your family. Thanks for your years of friendship with my parents - George and Laverne Williams. Love in Christ - Stephanie Jones.
