Mazie Illene Clark, 89, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1932 in Eola, Texas to Oliver and Edna (Page) Lollar. Mazie attended school at Eola and San Angelo High School. She married James Barnett on January 21, 1952, together they had three children and enjoyed 24 years together until his passing in 1976.
Mazie was a stay at home mother who loved and cared for her children. She later worked as a Central Supply Technician for Shannon Medical Center for over 15 years; she also worked for Mikulik’s Sausage and Seasoning. Mazie enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Robert Barnett; her second husband, Bill Clark; her son, Rodney Barnett; her sister, Gunerva Hunt; her brother, David Lollar; her brothers-in-law, Arvid Pfeiffer, George Hunt, and Dan Barnett; her sisters-in-law, Margie Barnett, and Georgie Lollar; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Barnett; her grandson, Matt Barnett and great-great grandson, Hayden Garza.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James Richard Barnett and wife Margaret; son, Joel Barnett; daughter-in-law, Cindy Barnett; grandchildren, Becky, Bubba, Dawna, Dusty, Dalton, Samantha and countless great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sue Pfeiffer Burk and husband Leon as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mazie will be from 6-7 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 am, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas with Jesse Morton officiating.
