

The Memorial Service will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ellen King, Rev. Bobby Machen and Rev. Billy Simmons officiating.
Corrine was born May 6, 1926 in Texon, Texas to Clinton Monroe and Gertrude Adams Satterfield. She grew up in Texon, Texas and graduated from High School in Big Lake, TX. Corrine married James “Jim” Newbrough on January 1, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas. They lived in Andrews for many years before moving to San Angelo in 1983. Corrine was a member of the Alpha Beta Sigma Phi Fraternity in Andrews, TX and a member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. During her lifetime she worked in the fashion and beauty industry for over 20 years. Later in her life she was a loving caregiver to numerous elderly ladies who dearly loved her. Corrine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and friends. We will dearly miss her and cherish her memory in our hearts forever.
Corrine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim and one brother Monroe Satterfield. She is survived by her sister, Lois Banzet of San Angelo, TX; her loving daughters, Phyllis Roberts, of San Angelo, TX and Carla Ramsey and her husband Max, of Marble Falls, TX; Four Grandchildren, Brad Roberts and his wife Amy, of San Angelo, Brandi Reynolds and her husband Dave, of Frisco, TX., Rachel Ramsey, of Austin, TX and Jessica Ramsey, of Austin, TX; Two Great Grandchildren, Trace and Kingsley, both of San Angelo; and numerous other family members and close friends.
The family wishes to express their sincerest thanks and gratitude to all the nurses, nurses’ aides and staff at Senior Care Center for all those who lovingly cared for our mother. A special thanks to Stefanie Bentz “Mother’s personal assistant”, who we will be forever grateful for her kindness, patience, and friendship to our mother. They would also like to extend their sincerest thanks to Lighthouse Hospice for all of the loving care given to Corrine.
Sometimes, in life, God places people in our lives to help others through difficult times. You, Ellen King, were one of those angels and we will be forever grateful for everything you did for us during our time of need.
