Raquel Harrera Begil

Rachel Begil, 76, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2013, in Shannon Hospital. Rosary is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Knickerbocker, Texas. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Knickerbocker, Texas. Burial will follow in Knickerbocker Cemetery. She is survived by her brother, Henry Begil and wife Norma of San Angelo; daughter Marie Begil of Knickerbocker, Texas; grandson Christopher Begil and Vicky Valdez of San Angelo; one great-grandson, Isaak Begil; one great-granddaughter, Ariana Acosta of San Angelo; sisters Omega Estrada of Dallas and Rebecca Aleman of San Antonio; and brothers Samuel Herrera of San Antonio and Pedro Herrera and wife Christina of Corpus Christi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Begil; her daughter, Geneva Begil Hudman; a great-grandson, Adrean Begil; her parents, Pedro and Ignacia Herrera; brother Eiseo Herrera; and a sister, Ruth Mendoza. Manuel Rangel will serve as the honorary pallbearer. Pallbearers will be Raymond Torres, Gabriel Rangel, Albert Estrada, Don Alcala, Richard Estrada and Frank Arrango. We would like to thank her doctors, Dr. Viki Forlano, Dr. Felger and Dr. Hume, for taking care of our mom. A special thanks to Marcus the ICU Nurse, and to our friends and to our family for always being there for us. Our dearest mom and abuela, we loved you so much and we will miss you every day.
