He was born in San Angelo, Texas on January 10, 1954.
He was the seventh child of thirteen children born to Jessie Sr. and Hazel Lewis.
He graduated from Central High School and went on in life and held several jobs.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Jessie Sr. and Hazel Lewis and two brothers, James and Walter Lewis.
He leaves behind his wife, Charolette and two sons, Edric and Bronshae Lewis of San Angelo, TX. 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings Charles, Earnestine, Charlesetta (Johnny Jackson), Jessie Jr., John L., Frank, Nathaniel (Jackie), Patricia, Richard, Anita, Ronald and C. L. Lewis.
