I met Ruth at Hunter College and we shared many wonderful times and good memories.  Then we both attended graduate studies at the Univ. of Ill. where we met my future husband.  Ruth shared my first attempts at driving his VW bug stick shift and was always there for me.  Thank you for all the times we shared and God bless you, Ruth, for your generous good nature.

Ruth knew all her students, those who excelled and those who needed more guidance.  Her smile was her signature presence to both students and faculty, whom she ardently represented as Faculty President for multiple years.  Her leadership and sense of humor as an English instructor, school counselor and faculty member was appreciated by all.
