S. L. "Red" Allen

Mr. Allen was born December 11, 1948 in San Angelo, Texas to Raymond & Adene Allen. He was married to Patsy Akin Allen on June 24, 1984 in San Angelo. He was retired.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Allen; one son and spouse, Raymond Allen and wife Teresa, one daughter and spouse, Machelle Baird and husband, Justin. Two sisters, Janell Hall & husband Bob; Glenda Ball. Sister in law, Caryolyn Allen. Grandchildren include Charles Levi Allen, Bethanie Barrett & husband Levi, Jimmy Baird & wife Cloey, Zackery Baird & wife, Victoria, Lexi Allen, Brandon Borg, Cutter Baird, Catfish Baird and Billy Ray Allen. Great grandchildren include Benjamin Barrett, Rebecca Barrett, Michael Baird, and Lincoln Baird. Aiden, Marshall, & Bobby along with other numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond H. Allen, mother, Adene Allen, and brother Kenneth Allen.

Open visitation is Tuesday from 8 am to 8 pm at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo. Graveside services are 10 am Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo with Reverend Raymond L. Allen officiating.
