Seth Elwood "Bob" Stout IV

Born April 13, 1954 to Seth E. Stout III and Jo Ann Featherston Stout. Bob passed away peacefully at age 60 on December 11, 2014. He grew up in Big Lake, TX and graduated from Reagan County High School in 1972. He was a graduate of Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1974 and worked for Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo for 35 years. His compassionate and loving heart provided much comfort and support to the many families he served over the years. He was preceded in death by his father, Seth E. Stout III, his brother, Kenneth Ben Stout and an infant daughter. He is survived by Michele Stout, daughters, Heather Stout Tisdale (Jeremy) and Whitney Stout Hobgood (Chaz), his mother, Jo Ann Stout and sister, Kathye Webb. He is also survived by a niece, two nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing on the Pecos River with friends and family and times

spent at the Stout Ranch in Stiles, TX. He was a lifetime Lions Club member. Visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13 from 6-8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, December 14 at Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake officiated by J.B. Bitner. Pallbearers are Barry Benton, Chris Hayes, Bill Ferguson, Bob Ferguson, R.L. "Pete" McKinney, Keith Stout, Kevin Stout, Clinton Brown, Jim Elliott, and Sully Montgomery. The family would like to thank Dr. Hughston and the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice (especially Dustin) for the wonderful care they provided to Bob. We would also like to thank Keith Stout for allowing Bob to go "home" one last time. We request that donations be made in Bob's memory to Gentiva Hospice or a charity of your choice.
