Karen wishes to thank the non-emergency firefighters and Kindred Hospice, particularly Mercedes Gomez and Sarai Cox. Mercedes kept Steve looking “spiffy” and feeling good about himself. Without Sarai, Steve’s nurse and our dear friend, this journey would not have been possible. There is simply no way to fully express our gratitude.
Steve was preceded in death by this dad, Elmer, and the mother of his children, Sharon Givens. He is survived by his mother, Anna Kelton of San Angelo, his sister, Kathy Kelton and her partner Mr. Pat Hennigan of San Angelo, his brother, Gary Kelton of Plainview, his step-son, W.R. McGinnis of San Angelo, his sons, Shane and wife Stacy Kelton and Shea and wife Sarah Kelton of ”the place”, two grandchildren, Kyle Kelton of San Angelo and Kourtney Kelton of Granbury, his wife, Karen McGinnis and their dog Sandy as well as Karen’s family and many friends and relatives.
