Ubil E. Samaniego

Ubil was called to be with the Lord on January 21st, 2019. He was born on May 9, 1938 in Del Rio, Texas. In his early years he worked in construction, and later he was employed by FINA service station for over 20 years. Ubil was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed baseball, boxing, wrestling, and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed watching shows on the Western Channel. Ubil is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Juanita Enriques Samaniego; brothers, Juan Samaniego and Ray Samaniego and sister, Solia Navarro. He is survived by his brother, Pascual Samaniego; sisters, Lupe Foster and Vicky Samaniego; his children, Mary S. Trevino (Arcado Jr.), Jessie Samaniego (Brooke), Ubil Samaniego Jr. (Mary), Jessie Samaniego, and David Samaniego (Linda) as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6 to 9 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10 AM, Friday, January 25, 2019 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
