William (Eddie) Hamrick

William (Eddie) Hamrick, 76, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was born on August 29, 1946 in Roswell, New Mexico to R.J. & Lola Hamrick. Eddie attended Lake View H.S. He worked as a welder in the oil field and retired from Hershfield Steel. He was preceded in death by his parents Lola and R.J. Hamrick. Eddie is survived by his daughters Joy Hamrick of San Angelo and Sherry Wilson and her husband David of Big Lake and former wife Evelyn Ammons of Big Lake. He is also survived by his brother Wayne Hamrick of San Angelo; grandchildren Anthony Horton of San Angelo, Matthew Horton and wife Karla Horton of Wall, Brandy Moore and husband Justin Moore of Big Lake; great grandchildren Rain, Maddison, John, Lili, Cabela, Joan and Cruz and numerous other family members. Public viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
