Adella Jane Huerta (Jimenez)

Our beautiful Della passed on Tuesday February 22, 2022, with congested heart failure at the age of 61. She was born in Kerrville, Texas at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1960. Known to everyone as Della, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Janie Jimenez. Della was raised in Comfort, Texas where she attended school. Shortly after school in 1980, Della moved to Boerne, Texas and later in 1985 moved to San Antonio, Texas. She worked for Northeast Baptist Hospital for 35 years and was going into her 36th year. All three of her children were born at Northeast Baptist Hospital.

Della is survived by her 3 loving children and son-in-law: Joshua S. Dears, Cassandra R. and Lane Emory, and Antonio Guerra, all who presently reside in San Antonio, Texas.

Della was an adored by many friends and aunt to her nieces and nephews: Christy, Ronnie, Casey, TJ, Valerie, Sara, Ashley, Samantha, and Rylan. She also had numerous grand nieces and nephews.

Della was also going to be a grandmother in July to a baby girl. She helped name baby Leila Jo Emory.
