Adriana Xochitl Garcia-Searcy, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2025, at the age of 45. She was born on January 21, 1980 in McAllen, Texas, to Anita and Esteban Garcia, Jr.
Adriana served as an elementary school counselor, a role in which her kind-hearted nature and patient demeanor were truly evident. Her unwavering loyalty and resilience shone through in both her professional and personal life, where she was a selfless, thoughtful presence to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She cherished traveling with her husband and exploring new destinations together. Among their favorite places were Disney World and New York, and most recently, they created lasting memories on a trip to Hawaii. Adriana was also a passionate baker, well-known for her delicious brownies. Her radiant smile and joyful laugh brought warmth and positivity to those around her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Esteban Garcia, Jr. Adriana is survived by her husband, Bill Searcy; mother, Anita Garcia; siblings, Rosie Shepard (Scot), Illeana Aguirre (Ray); nieces and nephews, Alynna and Jordanna Shepard, Tristan and Tyler Aguirre, and Connor Von Muldau; as well as numerous friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North, located at 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11:00 am.
