

She was born May 1, 1926, in Poth, Texas to Adolph and Mary Dlugosh. During her career, she worked as a manager for Fox Photo and also for Joske's of Texas. She was a lifelong member of the Sons of Hermann. She was extremely active with Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society for over 40 years. She earned the Archbishop Francis J. Furey Medal of Service in 1970 for her service to the Catholic community.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Henry P. Butler; sisters, Irene Lowak, Mary Lee Bednarz and Ida Bienek; and brothers, James and Ernest Dlugosh.
Agnes is survived by her son, Patrick V. Butler and wife Linda; daughter, Sally M. Butler Marion; granddaughters, Shannon, Christie, Sarah and Shauna; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 PM Monday.
