Agnes Rita Williamson

Agnes Rita Valdez Williamson of San Antonio passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023.She was born to Carmen and Martin Valdez on April 18, 1937, in Lockhart, Texas. The Valdez family moved to Austin, Texas where Agnes later attended and graduated from the University of Texas. There she met and married the love of her life Robert (Rob) Williamson on June 7th, 1958.

After graduation from Texas A & M University Rob was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in The United States Air Force. During their Air Force career the couple with their two daughters, Rebecca and Pam, moved over nine times in twenty two years retiring in Plano, Texas. Agnes pursued a successful career in Real Estate. Agnes spent most of her time continuing to explore her passion for her artistic talents in painting, decorating, sewing, and cooking. She was well known for her creative and artistic jewelry designs marketing under her logo, Designs by Agnes.

Agnes brightened a room with her infectious smile and open arms, never meeting a stranger.She expressed herself through her faith in the Catholic Church, and the love she had for her family.

Agnes is survived by her loving and caring husband of 65 years, her two daughters; Rebecca and son-in-law Jeff Wilson of Plano, Texas, Pamela and son-in-law Phillip Muncy of Sugar Grove, North Carolina, granddaughter; Athena Wilson and her brother Carlos Valdez of Austin, Texas.
