Aida Luz was first and foremost a dispenser of love. Her pulpit was the kitchen and her sword was her infamous arroz-con-gandules (Puerto Rican rice) of which she added some special ingredients namely "I believe in you" and "you are my favorite". It closely resembled the love of Christ.unconditional, never-imposing, always available and irresistibly inviting.
Her husband Bonifacio served in US Army (both North Korean and Vietnam wars) and Aida Luz ran a day care center out of her home administering her radiant love to many families. She was a founding member of Club de Damas - a Puerto Rican club for the preservation of Puerto Rican culture and heritage. Her passions were family, music and dancing . and her home ministry.
