
He went into business with his father Alfonso M. Garza in 1956, and served as co-owner of A.M. Garza used cars AMGUC. He was a successful businessman for many years until he retired October 1, 2006.
Al loved being with family and friends as they spent enjoyable time gambling, fishing, hunting, dancing and traveling together.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.M. Garza.
Al is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Rose Lee; children, Patricia Ann and husband, Jay Wagoner, Norma Jean and husband, Dr. Tom Zoda of Austin; Associate Pastor and Counselor Michael Garza and wife, Carol of Nazareth, PA; lovely granddaughters, Alexa Rhey and Madison Paige Wagoner; mother, Felicitas C. Garza; brothers, Bob and Ernest and their families; brothers-in-law, Bill and U. J. Backus; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice and their compassionate nurses and staff for their loving care.
