

Albert Al, Junior Prince, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Tula Garza Prince; and beloved wife, Beatrice Bea Prince. Albert is survived by his only child, Lori Prince Brown; three grandchildren: Michael Hernandez and wife Melissa, Deja Hook, and D.J. Xavier Brown; seven great grandchildren: Ali-bri, Issac, D'Ovonni, Jali, Kavi, Daveon, and Kira. Mr. Prince is also survived by cousins, Margaret G. Montemayor, Johnny Garza, Margaret Ferror and others in California; sister-in-law, Patt Black; along with many nieces and nephews. He was blessed with a host of friends. Al Prince is best remembered for his wonderful personality as well as owning The Majestic Club and Mr. Chips, both located downtown on College Street. Along with owning his own businesses, many may recall Al from his work at the St. Anthony Hotel, La Louisiane, The San Francisco Steak House, and La Mansion del Norte.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 5:00 at Porter Loring.
