Alberto Garin Deleon

Born on May 24, 1946, Alberto was a devoted family man who found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He enjoyed watching football and novelas, spending time with his family, and cooking for his loved ones. One of his greatest passions was supporting his grandchildren, he never missed a game and was their biggest fan, always cheering them on from the sidelines with pride and love.

Alberto was preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso and Amparo DeLeon, as well as his siblings Manuel, Alfonso, Trinidad, Ernestina, Margarita, Marina, Alfredo, Raquel, Roberto, and Armando.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary DeLeon; his children, Sandra Alvarado, Rudy Alvarado, Debra Gonzales (Kenneth Gonzales), Albert DeLeon Jr. (Arianna DeLeon); his grandchildren Derick, Brandon, Elizabeth, Anissa, and Jordan. He also leaves behind four cherished great-grandchildren.

Alberto’s legacy is carried on through the lives he touched, through his kindness, loyalty, and the unwavering support he gave to his family.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

There will be a Visitation held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
