Alejandro Aguilar Mata

Alex A. Mata Sr., went to be with the lord on December 29, 2020, at the age of 69. A retired U.S. Postal Worker with 36 years of service. He was born on July 13, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Theresa and Louie Mata; and his siblings Gloria Mata, Louie Mata III, Jesse Mata and Raymond Mata. Alex is survived by his wife, Sandra Mata; his children, Alex Mata Jr. (Roxanne), Steven Mata, George Mata (Savannah) and Sandy Arevalo (Frank); his grandchildren, Alexis, Steven, Anthony, Nicholas, Danielle, Joshua, Aiden, Nathan, Jake, Jacob, Ylana, and Frank Jr.; his great-grandchild, Alizea; his siblings, Joe Mata (Evelyn), Johnny Mata (Rosie), Nora Mendoza (John) and Linda Garza (John); and his sisters-in-law, Hermelinda and Diana.

Alex will be greatly missed by his wife Sandra A. Mata of 50 years, his children, family, and friends. Especially by his grandchildren he loved much. He enjoyed classic cars, camping at the river and took pride in working in his yard. We will miss your unique personality, and loving sense of humor.
