Hi Tio, since you've been gone I have been doing a lot of thinking about my life and where I'm going. It made me realize that there is true love out there and there is "for better or for worse" cuz I saw it with you and Tia Helen. And believe me...she put up with it...lol. Aye Tio, I'm gunna miss you "fight" with my sister and tell her that you love mija (me) more. It was always fun to see that. I remember when JJ was a baby he would push you around in your wheelchair cuz he was "facinated" with the wheels...lol. Or when you would ask my mom to cut her nails so that Tia can put them on so that you can pick your nose...lol. Eww....gross. I miss your jokes and hearing your laughter. All we can do now is remember all the fun times we had with you like the camping trips we used to take when we were younger. The family get togethers and all the music you played. You always played good music, better than what the radio played. Oh, how can I forget...you taught me how to "point", lol. I hope that when you are looking down on me & see that I'm lost, give me a kick in the butt and a hug and tell me its gunna be alright. Have fun bowling with my dad up in heaven. I'm not gunna say goodbye because I know I'll be seeing you again.

Tio, my earliest memory of you is way before you and Tia Helen were married. You were still living with buelito and you were in your room (which is now his TV room) and you were yelling to the kitchen and making fun of me. Yep, that was you! The big meanie to us little kids! I remember growing up I was so scared of you. I remember your wedding day and how happy you were and I remember watching Stephanie and Samantha grow up. I remember your guitar playing and singing "My Dad" and "Mil Punales de Oro." Me and Mike are both blessed that you took care of mija since she was 3 months old so I could go to work in peace and not worry about how she was doing. You taught her alot--how to drink from a cup, how to love music and dance, and my favorite---how to say "I be dam" (yes...she picked that up from you!! LOL!)

Thank you Tio for taking care of mija. You told me once she filled a void. I thank God that you were in her life because you and Tia Helen are with her more than I am. You helped us raise her and for that I will be eternally grateful. Love you and see you in heaven one day!! Now go join the choir in heaven!

I have been thinking about your family for the last week.  I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that this is very hard but you can take comfort knowing that he is in a better place.  And I am sure that he is looking down on all of you with that big smile he always had.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time.  Even though it has been a long time since we worked together Alex always took the time to check up on my family every once in a while.  He was always a good friend to everyone and always had a positive attitude even at his hardest times.   I am going to miss hearing from him.  Take care.  My love to you all.

Your leaving us was so unexpected. There were so many times yet to be had, so much laughter, so many conversations, so much more. It doesn't seem fair, I wasn't ready to let you go. 
 You were there for me when I got sick, always by my side not leaving me alone, concerned. Getting upset because doctors couldn't make up their mind what was wrong with me. Standing up for me when I felt overwhelmed by everything and everyone. Wrong or right, you were there. You had my back. 
I miss you so much..so so much. "My baby brother" you called yourself even though I was the baby sister.
 My life will not be the same without you. Our lives will not be the same without you. 
You needed to go home, to be with the Lord. You'd been through so much and you felt tired.  You're home now..with Mom, Carlos, Joe, your friends Sonny and George, and other family that have gone before us, most importantly you're with the Lord our God...you're HOME.
 You will forever be in my heart and I know that one day we'll be together again. Until then...I love you my brother...sleep with the angels BC....MWA MWA
