My mother and I always thought so highly of Al and family. He was a hard working , kind, sweet, family man that shared many memories of my mother , Lucy when they were growing up. May he Rest In Peace

I've known Mr. Aguilar for 10 years and spent the last 7 of them as his son-in-law.  He accepted me graciously into his family and I always felt welcome in his home.  I looked forward to visiting with him when Laura and I traveled to San Antonio.  He was a great storyteller and had many to share.  Sometimes he would tell a story that I had heard before, but I didn't mind because it was worth listening to again.  He was a simple man and well respected.  He enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time with his family and conversation.  He would get really excited when we would bring over sweet bread during our visits.  We shared a lot of moments and holidays together during those 10 years.  We explored both Dallas and San Antonio, went out to dinner several times, enjoyed the Christmas lights at Incarnate Word, and we were even in a tornado warning together taking cover in the hallway of his house.  Although I'm sad that he has now passed from this Earth, I'm happy to have known him and to have spent the time we did together.  He will be missed dearly.  May you rest in peace.  Love, Mike

We will miss you every day of our lives.  God blessed us when we were born to such a great father.  These last three months have been a blessing and we thank God for being able to spend time with our dear Dad before the good Lord called him home.  Our home will always feel empty without his radiant personality.  Rest easy, Dad, and say hello to all of our dearly departed.   May God’s perpetual light shine upon you.

My dad was always there for us all. I will always remember the wonderful family vacation trips we took each year when we were kids, and my dad's barbeque that he would make on Sundays.  I have many fond memories of my dad.  Love you Dad and I miss you very much.  You are now in Heaven holding momma's hand and you have Paul at your side.  

Happy Birthday in Heaven Mr. Aguilar!! You will truly be miss by many family and friends.  You were a great friend and neighbor to my parents and then to my husband and I. You are now with your beautiful wife. May you Rest Peacefully!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

What a great man!  My Father was a strong, brave, and proud man til the very end.   He loved taking us to the coast.   He always cherished those memories of the coast.   I  am forever greatful for all that he taught me throughout my life.  God bless you Dad!  Give Mom a hug for all of us!  Love you!

He is survived by his children: son Alfonso E. Aguilar, daughter Diana L. Henry (Bob), son Richard L. Aguilar (Norma); daughter Cecilia T. Aguilar; son Michael A. Aguilar (Kris); daughter Laura J. Aguilar (Michael Trotter); his sisters Alice Hunt and Claudia Plasket, brothers Frank Aguilar and John Aguilar; grandchildren Shain, Angelica, Samantha, Jason, Mona Lisa, Heather, Lindsey and Kieran; numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.


He is reunited in Heaven with his most cherished wife Marie L. Aguilar; son Paul D. Aguilar; brothers Pete B. Aguilar, Jr., Antonio Aguilar and Ernest Aguilar.
