Alfred “Al” Wilson Carrico, Jr., age 78, passed away January 19, 2021 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in San Antonio, TX on November 5, 1942 to Alfred Wilson Carrico, Sr. & Glenn Fleming Carrico. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.
Al proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for 2 tours and the U.S. Army. He is retired from Civil Service as an LVN from BAMC. Al was lovingly known by his family as “Jr.”.
Al is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Glenn & William Dawson; his father and step-mother, Alfred & Gladyse Carrico Sr.; and his sister, Patricia Ann Hardin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Carrico; daughters, Sandra Talley and Tasha Carrico; siblings, Janice Carpenter & her husband Bill, Gayle Burress, Kay Davis & her husband Ronnie, Frank Carrico & his wife Kari; his granddaughters, Freya Carrico and Abcde (Abby) Saunders, Staci Talley; his grandsons, Steven, Scott, Josh, DJ and Nicholas Talley; and many nieces and nephews.
The Graveside Service will be 9:45 am, Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter #5) with Full Army Honors.
